Hi there guys this is DSrider here with another toku rant. I hope you had a very merry Christmas and have a good new year. This week I am talking about Movie Exclusive forms for Kamen Rider. Just to warn you this is going to be a short one.
My problem is why do they never appear in the show. Now I don't mind if they give a reason for having them not appear in their respective series such as Kamen Rider OOO's Tamashi combo as that only existed due to manipulations in the time line. I also don't mind if they are introduced in a movie then appear in the show such as for example W through Fourze and now Ghost. But otherwise why aren't they.
Especially the extra final forms you get but at least that's ocasionly explained with that they are just temporary power boosts. Like in W and Wizard's Sumer movies.
You could say what about episode 53 of Kamen Rider Wizard that featured the final forms plus extra final forms of the first 14 Heisei era Riders, but the problem is that they don't appear in their respective series and I understand that ultimate Rising Kuuga first appeared in Decade's summer movie and Chou climax form for Kamen Rider den-o appeared in a movie which also featured Decade as well as Kamen Rider OOO's super tatoba combo which first appeared in his crossover movie with Kamen Rider Fourze.

DSrider toku rant number three - Kamen Rider wizard's driver
Hi there and a merry Christmas to you all, this is DS rider here to talk about Kamen Rider wizard. I am not going to spoil it for you but personally I liked it so I recommend you see it too make your own opinions and if yours is different to mine, that's fine.
Recently I was watching Episode 50 of Kamen Rider Wizard and while doing so I noticed in the comment section about how the fight between Kamen Rider Wizard's infinity form and Kamen Rider Wiseman would be an even match and how it would have played out if different factors had been included in the fight. But that's not what I'm talking about you see I posted my own comment about how no one made note of Wizard's and Wiseman's drivers and how they would add to the fight in their own ways.
My theory is that the driver that Wizard uses is Wiseman's prototype becuase how else was Wiseman able to conjure up a driver for wizard to use after the ritual that gave Wizard his powers becuase when Wiseman performed the ritual he wasn't expecting a new magic user to be created let alone anyone surviving as a human and all the other drivers we see in the series barring the Kamen Rider Beast's driver they look exactly like Wiseman's Driver. So my point is that Wizard's Driver isn't as efficient at chaneling Magic as the other belts are.
To also back my statement up is during episode 40 and 41 when Mayu the orange Kamen Rider Mage was able to fight against Medusa one of the Generals of the monsters that Wizard and his allies fight against at the same level of Wizard in his Flame Dragon form when she only had her powers for about a month or two when Wizard had been fighting the Phantoms for well over a year at this point.
So yeah the drivers that the two Mystic Riders respectively use definitely had something to do with the fight but then again it's just my own personal theory. DS rider's toku rants 2: sixth super sentai senshi Changers
Hi there this is DS rider here with another toku rant and today we are talking about, well you read the title didn't you. But before we get into that lets have some backstory first.
In 1992 the dinosaur based super sentai Zyuranger (later adapted into the first series of power rangers) introduced the first official sixth ranger however while Dragon Ranger burai was the first sixth ranger he wasn't the first.
The first sixth ranger first appeared in Choudenshi Bioman and he was known as Magne warrior not to be confused with Magna Defender from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. However he only appeared in two episodes of the show.
The second Sixth Ranger appeared in Hikari Sentai Maskman for only one episode and he was known as X1-Mask
Ever since Zyuranger Sixth Rangers have become a staple of both Super Sentai and Power Rangers. However my issue isn't with rangers themselves but their transformation devices. You see the majority of sixth ranger transformation devices were just either modifications or repaints of the main team's transformation devices due to cost saving measures I imagine or at least they would be something similar however my biggest gripe with the transformation devices for sixth Rangers are the latest two. From Ressha Sentai Toquger and Shuriken Sentai Nininger.
Do you know what's wrong with them. They are respectively a friggin IPhone and cheese burger. That means I can just stick a peice of wooden rails to my phone and swipe a Thomas the tank engine train across it to transform. However I do give credit to Nininger becuase it's unique as I said they either are repaints or modified from the main team's transformation devices or at the very least follow the same asthetic as the main team's. But I understand that the sixth Ranger is American but you don't need to make it that obvious that he is from America. That and when I ever I see the thing I get a little hungry.
Please Toei for jyugoger (I think that's how it's spelt) can we just have a repainted or modified version of the main team's transformation devices thank you.

DS Rider toku rant 1 - Imagin anime
Before I give you my thoughts on Imagin anime I'm going to give you some backstory first. Imagin anime is an animated spin off of the possibly still popular toku show Kamen Rider den-o. It features all the protagonist Imagin from the show in various hyjinks and wackiness that will make you scratch your head about how something like this could be made. But remember it was made for kids. It has three seasons and each episode is roughly 5 minutes long each.
But before we get to my opinion I recommend that you go watch EZ rider's review of them the first of which is above.
And now for my own opinion. The truth is that is kind of like it please bear in mind that I have not seen Kamen Rider den-o in its entirety so I don't really now if this is how the Taros imagins would react or not to these situations. But I like them purely because of the wackiness because that's what made Den-o so apparently popular to begin with. Another reason I like it is because it reminds me of the Classic Disney cartoons not the crap that is on now.
If you want to watch it yourselves I would recommend it, however if you don't, that's fair enough I'm only here to talk about tokusatsu not change your minds about it either way I hope you found this rant informative and that you will come back next week because we are talking about super sentai henshin devices more importantly sixth senshi changes.

Hi there, my name is DSrider and this blog is well it's about the tokusatsu genre and what I like and dislike about it but just to say these are my opinions just mine but if your opinion differs to mine I completely respect that however I would appreciate it if there wasn't any hate in the comments after all we entitled to our own opinions thanks
